Dennis Martin Murray

Dennis M. Murray, age 58, of Grants Pass, know as “Big D” to many, went home to the Lord on August 29, 2007 after battling with cancer. “Big D” was born on August 10, 1949 in Santa Clara, California. He had no living relatives. Survivors include lifelong friends, Billy and Estelle Lamboy of Escalon, California. His best friend, Robert Long, friend Pete Howell and his friends and caretakers, Stan and Michelle Bolas. Also, were many friends from the Men’s Gospel Rescue Mission where he loved to go for Bible Studies. “Big D” was very grateful as well for the Lovejoy Hospice people that cared for him.

“Big D” loved to help others, his ministry was encouraging others in prison through letter writing for Welcome Home Oregon. He touched many lives this way and was an example of God’s love to all he knew. He will be missed.
