Delvia Green, age 93, of Rogue River, died Friday, May 18, 2012 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Lenny Brewer officiating. Private interment will be at Granite Hill Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Delvia was born May 21, 1918 in Redfield, Arkansas to Thomas & Alice Patterson On September 17, 1933 in Redfield she married Jesse Green. She lived in San Jose, California until 1966 when she moved to the Rogue River.
Delvia was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Rogue River.
Her hobbies included fishing, especially at Lake Selmac; camping; and yard sales. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Condon of San Jose, California, Wanda Johnson of Sheridan, Arkansas, and Grace Chapman of Rogue River, Oregon; a sister, Ruby Lampkin of Redfield, Arkansas; 24 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren.
Delvia was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Green on May 16, 1983; two daughters, Anita Green and Linda Kerr; three sons, Larry Green, Edward Green, and John Green; two granddaughters, Vicki Meisner and Cherise Johnson; and two grandsons, Edward Davidson and James Davidson.
