Delores Jean (Reames) Sallee, age 82, of Gold Hill, died Friday, October 2, 2015 at her home.
Delores was born June 2, 1933 at Grandma Tanner’s house in Gold Hill, Oregon to George & Mida (Tanner) Reames. In 1952 she was a part of the first graduating class at Crater High School in Central Point. Later that year on October 4, 1952 she married Odell Sallee.
Delores was a member of the Medford and Central Point Senior Centers.
Her hobbies include pencil, pastel, and oil painting; sewing; rock hounding; deer hunting; hiking; and picking mushrooms.
Survivors include a daughter, Valerie Stewart of Virginia City, Nevada; a son, Christopher Sallee of Gold Hill, Oregon; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Sallee; a son, Gordon Sallee; two sisters, Frances Roland and Patty Bowers; and three brothers, Ben Reames, Burney Reames and Brownie Reames.
A potluck celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Palmerton Park in Rogue River.
