Delma Louise Preslar, age 83, of Rogue River, died Monday, March 17, 2008 at her grandson’s home.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Hull & Hull Chapel. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

Delma was born January 8, 1925 in Grants Pass to George Carter & Elma Searcy Carter. In 1943 she graduated from Grants Pass High School. On April 14, 1945 in Reno, she married Delbert Wayne Preslar. She raised her family in Bakersfield, California. She later lived in Redding, California before moving to Rogue River where she lived for 15 years. In January 2008 she moved to her grandson’s home in Central Point.
In August 1955 she began serving the Lord and especially enjoyed Bible study.
Her hobbies included cooking, photography, especially nature and deer, and flower gardening especially roses.
Survivors include two daughters, Denise Louise Corcoran of Eagle Point and Darla Thompson of Bakersfield, California; a son, Donald Wayne Preslar of Bakersfield, California; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preced in death by her husband, Delbert Wayne Preslar on March 17, 1998 and a granddaughter, Kendra Thompson in 1992.
