Deborah Lorraine "Debbie" Ellerd

Deborah Lorraine “Debbie” Ellerd, age 60, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Rogue Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Debbie was born June 30, 1952 in San Mateo, California to John Franklin Stonich and Dorothy Bean Stonich. In 1998 she moved from Oroville, California to Grants Pass. On June 30, 2001 at their home in Grants Pass she married James Ellerd. She worked at Umpqua Bank and Key Bank as a teller until medically retiring in 2009.

Debbie was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Family and friends were everything to her. She loved animals, antiques and her home. She enjoyed candle making and tole painting. She had a great sense of humor, liked to tease, and laughed easily and often.

She is survived by her husband, James Ellerd of Grants Pass, Oregon; a daughter, Melissa Gramps of Oroville, California; three sisters, Lani Loeblein of Grants Pass, Oregon, Carol Stonich-Reilly and Cheryl Stonich-Elam both of Oroville, California; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Bean Stonich on July 3, 1952; her father, John Franklin Stonich on June 5, 1964; and her stepmother, Ethel Patricia Bean Stonich on July 2, 1982.
