Deanna Irene Turnbull, age 72, of Cave Junction, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at her granddaughter’s home with Lovejoy Hospice.
Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Deanna was born on May 22, 1938 in Hilt, California. When she was six years old she moved to Cave Junction where her father owned and operated a mill on Dick George Road. After marrying her first husband she moved to Whidbey Island. She later returned to Cave Junction and married her current husband, Darrell. Deanna and Darrell were married for 44 years and raised their family on Dick George Road where Deanna lived out the rest of her life.
Her hobbies included bowling and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell James Turnbull of Cave Junction; children, Tami Duhaime, Rick Turnbull, Ann Crandell, Mark Turnbull, Clark Turnbull and adopted daughter, Katrina Crandell; a sister, Wanda Pullen; a brother Perry Pullen; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
