David Theo Cobb, age 52, of Wonder, died Friday, July 3, 2009 at his brother’s home in Grants Pass.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center with Bishop Lynden Woolley officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
He was born January 30, 1957 in Encino, California to Hyland & June (Lovejoy) Cobb. He attended high school in Yakima, Washington. In 1995 he moved from Merlin to Wonder. He was a supervisor at Bentwood Furniture 25 years ago.
As a youngster, David was active in the Boy Scouts.
He was a generous and humble man. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and drawing.
Survivors include three daughters, Synthia Marie Cobb Hall, Tina Anne Cobb, and Misty Dawn Cobb all of Grants Pass; his father, Hyland W. Cobb of Kingman, Arizona; two brothers, Hyland William Cobb of Austin, Texas and “Pete” Palmer Gentry Cobb of Grants Pass; and a sister, June Dawn Wilson of Oak Hills, California.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Theresa Lynne Cobb in 1982.
