David was born March 23, 1927 in Pasadena, California. In 1984 he moved to his dream ranch in Azalea with his third wife Virginia. They enjoyed gardening and farming there until heart problems forced them to move to Grants Pass in 2001. His jobs included loving all people; aircraft machinist; firefighter, Navy service during World War II; and umpiring Little League and high school baseball games.
David loved westerns, helping others, and basking in the warm sunshine.
Survivors include five children, Wendy Lacy, Steve Galloway, Stanley Galloway, Daniel Galloway, and Peggy Coon; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were two sons, Bill Galloway and Corky Galloway and a great-grandson, Michael Thompson.
He will be remembered by most who knew him as “Grandpa Dave.” He will never be forgotten.
