Daniel Paul Cartwright, age 48, of Cave Junction, died December 22, 2018 in Cave Junction.
Daniel was born November 23, 1970 in Los Angeles County, California. As a kid he moved from the San Fernando Valley to the Rogue and Illinois Valley. He has also lived in Grants Pass and Kerby before returning to Cave Junction. He married his wife, Amber in Humboldt County, California. He worked as a vineyard farmer, was an all-around handyman and jack-of-all-trades.
Daniel was a great driver and enjoyed motorcycling, headbanging to metallica, doing doughnuts and taught his nieces Trista, Hanna and his nephew Mikey how to drive. He also enjoyed cooking and camping every summer, especially at South Umpqua Falls and Greyback.
Survivors include his wife, Amber of Cave Junction; three children, Desiree Severance of Rhode Island, Donovan Cartwright and Joseph Cartwright both of Cave Junction; stepdaughter, Crystal Baker of Grants Pass; a brother, Michael Petersen of Kerby; and sister, Victoria Petersen of Milpitas, California.
