Daniel Brickey

Daniel Brickey, age 62, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at his home after spending the last five years with progressive supranuclear palsy.

A celebration of life will be at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Grants Pass Golf Club, 230 Espey Road. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Dan was born January 25, 1950 in Grants Pass and was known as Down Town Dan. During the Vietnam War he served in the United States Navy. On December 7, 1979 in Maui, Hawaii he married Sharon Reineccius. He was an entrepreneur and sold cars.

Dan was a member of the Eagles Lodge.

He enjoyed living life large. He loved to have a good time and enjoyed bicycling, running, and all physical sports.

Dan is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters, Sarah Brickey, Jenny Bates and son, William Schultz; two grandchildren, Lindsey Bates and Hunter Schultz; and five siblings, Raylee Brickey, Patricia Price, Brenda Brickey, Gayla Ross, and Doug Brickey.
