Former long-time Rogue Valley resident, Daniel “Danny” Alan Reasor passed away Wednesday, June 12th, 2019.
Danny was born on November 3rd, 1961, in Harbor City, California, to Sharon and Milton Reasor. He grew up in Torrance, California, and graduated from Torrance High School in the class of 1980. Shortly after, he moved to Santa Barbara, California for a few years to work for his uncle, Robert “Bob” Audell. He then moved to Orange County, California before his final move to the Rogue Valley in 1992.
Danny was a jack-of-all-trades, but specialized in drywalling. He worked for John French, a close friend, in Corona, California. Danny helped build his parents’ dream log home in Selma, Oregon, was employed by Palm Harbor Homes for several years, and for the last five years worked as a finisher with Masterbrand.
Danny was truly an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed camping, fishing, mountain biking, and rock-climbing. He also loved raising his roller pigeons, caring for his cats, beefing up his new pickup and gardening. He grew an amazing collection of bonsai trees, which he gifted to several family members.
Danny is survived by his mom and dad, Sharon and Milton Reasor, Selma, Oregon; his former wife, Tanya Shelander, Rogue River, Oregon; former in-laws, Kathryn (his Mother-in-Love) and Paul Brooks, Central Point, Oregon; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Terry Waier, Grants Pass, Oregon; brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Debbie Reasor, Torrance, California; uncle and aunt, Bob and Bobbie Audell, Grants Pass, Oregon; nieces Amie Siedlecki, Grants Pass, Oregon, and Megan and Katie Reasor, Oakland and Torrance, California; and nephew, Cameron Reasor, Torrance, California; and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Sunday, June 23rd, 2019, at Palmerton Park in Rogue River. Refreshments will be provided. Bring and share your fond memories of the Danny you knew.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to your favorite Rogue Valley charity in his name.
