Dakota Robert Davis

Dakota Robert Davis, age 9 , of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Oregon Health & Sciences University Hospital in Portland.

A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 27, 2007 at Faith Lutheran Church in Rogue River with Pastor Norman Nibblett officiating. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Remembrances may be made in memory of Dakota Robert Davis at any branch of Umpqua Bank.

Dakota was born October 8, 1997 in Grants Pass. Dakota attended Redwood Elementary School where he had completed third grade and was looking forward to fourth grade this September. Dakota was a very outgoing child and was loved by all that knew him. There will always be an empty void in the lives of his family and friends now that he is gone.

He enjoyed attending Good News Club through Redwood Elementary School.

Dakota especially enjoyed playing video games, soccer, and playing with his dogs.

Survivors include his mom and stepdad, Tammi & Jason Rice; and his dad, Robert Davis all of Grants Pass; grandparents, Steve & Linda Rice of Grants Pass; Stephen & Sharon Rice of Lakehead, California; and Virginia Lenahan of Portland; great-grandparents, Don & Grace Little of Grants Pass; and numerous aunts and uncles.
