Craig L. Adams, age 65, of Rogue River, died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Craig was born April 13, 1948 in San Francisco, California. He was raised and attended schools in San Francisco graduating from Lincoln High School in 1966. For two years he attended City College of San Francisco before being drafted in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge in the early 1970s, he met and later married Denise Lenca on April 20, 1974 in San Francisco. He worked as a dental lab technician for many years. He then started work in medical research device development, working for different startup companies in the Bay Area. He was a technical minded craftsman who contributed to the development of many patented medical devices. In 2004 he moved from San Ramon, California to Rogue River, Oregon.
Craig played acoustic guitar and sang in a group called the Morticians, and at one time opened for the Beach Boys.
He enjoyed woodworking, jewelry making, and gunsmithing.
Craig is survived by his wife, Denise Adams of Rogue River, Oregon; a daughter, Kelly Adams of Austin, Texas; and two sisters, Pamela Adams of Belmont, California and Lynette Adams of Pacifica, California.
