Constance “Ardith” Bumgardner, 81, of Grants Pass, died Monday, November 19, 2007 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the Selma Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Monty Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Deer Creek Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

She was born on January 24, 1926 in Selma, Oregon and raised there. For about 30 years she lived in California, Klamath and Blue Lake.
She was an avid outdoors person and especially loved hunting, fishing and gardening. She taught her daughters and grandsons to hunt and fish. She also enjoyed canning, bowling and loved sewing and quilting for her family.
Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Paul Bumgardner of Grants Pass; her five daughters, Virginia Stephens and Barbara Parsons, both of Myrtle Creek; Leah Luper of Caldwell, Idaho; Lola Colby of Rocklin, California; and Joyce Stephens-Zeyner of Sacramento, California; her sister, Inez Hatmaker of Langlois, Oregon; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Janice Jane Harmon in 1980; and Constance Stephens in 1943; and six brothers and one sister.
