Colleen Lea Cochrane-Bouchard

Colleen Lea (Cochrane) Bouchard, age 68, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 7, 2021. She fought Small Cell Carcinoma for eight months and did not let it stop her. She was born in McMinnville, OR on August 7, 1952 to the late Frank and Anna Bosch. She lived in Crescent City many years before moving to Cave Junction, Oregon. She attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cave Junction. She was a Primary Teacher at the church from 2013-2020 for Children up to the age of 12. She really missed teaching the children during COVID. She was a community volunteer for the Josephine County Sheriff 's Department, a Girl Scout Leader, a CERT Team member for the Illinois Valley Fire Department. She also volunteered for the Senior Center and the Senior Center Thrift Store. She enjoyed taking care of the elderly and helping them with errands.

She left behind her Husband Richard Bouchard; Sister Frances Gregio; Daughter Bobbie Hjelmgren; Sons John Skaggs, and Jeremy Stewart; Son-in law James Hjelmgren; Step Children Charlene Marinelli, Robert, Charles and Gene Cunningham; Former Daughter-in-law Dove Stewart; Grandchildren Joshua and Nicholas Hjelmgren, Tristien Korn, Cearia Cantrell, Christian Stewart , Trista and Jarhett Skaggs, Owen Powers, Alyex and Elizabeth Cunningham, Hunter, Nico, Emma and Joyce Cunningham, Robert, Lucille, James and Eddie Cunningham; Great-Grandchildren Landon, Scottie and June Cantrell, Kaiya and Koaxai Skaggs, and many other family members. Preceded in death by Parents Frank C. Bosch, Anna E. Meyer, Sister Tina Marie Bosch; Previous Spouse David A Cochrane.

A Memorial will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cave Junction, Oregon at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 24th 2021.
