Clydus Mae Knight Williams

Clydus Mae Knight Williams, 74, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, October 20, 2012 at her home.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012 at Jerome Prairie Bible Church (2564 Walnut Avenue, Grants Pass) with Pastor James Downing officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Clydus was born October 10, 1938 in Coolidge, New Mexico. The family moved to Cave Junction in 1946 where Clydus attended schools and graduated from Illinois Valley High School Class of 1956. After graduation, she moved to Santa Rosa, California. While there she worked as a bookkeeper for 20 years. After returning to Cave Junction, she worked for Sara Jones Tax Co, retiring in 1998.

Clydus was a member of Jerome Prairie Bible Church.

She enjoyed quilting, yard work, dancing, and crochet.

Survivors include a husband, Arnold Mellow of Grants Pass, Oregon; a son, Craig Williams of Grants Pass, Oregon; a daughter, Trace Lee Giles Stenhouse of Groveland, California; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Hull of Medford, Oregon.

Her daughter, Michelle Williams died before her.
