Clifford Vernon Bradshaw

Clifford Vernon Bradshaw, 93, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2007 at Hull & Hull Chapel. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

He was born on December 25, 1913 in Chapin, Missouri. He was married to Golda C. Rozzell, who preceded him in death. When Clifford lived in California, he worked in a nursery, budding and grafting small trees. He later worked for a large lemon orchard, pruning and planting trees for several ranchers in the Pomona Valley area. In 1960 he moved to Grants Pass from San Dimas, California. After moving to Grants Pass, he became a carpenter and cabinetmaker.

He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He loved gardening and growing fruit trees. He also enjoyed making early American furniture and preaching the Gospel.

Survivors include his three sons, Clifford Darrell Bradshaw; and Robert Franklin Bradshaw, both of Grants Pass; and Virgil Vernon Bradshaw of Hillsboro; two sisters, Lotus Marie Dill and Barbara Brambas, both of California; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
