Christopher Caleb Murphy

Christopher Caleb Murphy, 4 months old, of Grants Pass, died Monday, October 21, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Edgewater Christian Fellowship office, 101 Assembly Circle, Grants Pass with Pastor Mark Skudstad officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Remembrances may be made to Edgewater Christian Fellowship to benefit Christopher’s family.

Christopher was born June 21, 2013 in Grants Pass to Jesse & Catherine Murphy. His nickname was “Chubs” as he was a big boy always in the 95% percentile with lots of black hair. He was a beautiful baby who was very active always smiling and happy.

Chris was dedicated to the Lord on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Edgewater Christian Fellowship.

His family refers to Christopher as “our sweet happy baby who loves to swipe, war stomp and laugh; our precious gift from the Lord.”

Christopher is survived by his Dada & Mama, Jesse & Catherine Murphy and his two big brothers, Ethan and Joshua “JJ” all of Grants Pass, Oregon; paternal grandparents, Rick & Kathi Sharrard of Grants Pass, Oregon; paternal grandfather, Kevin Murphy of Murphy, Oregon; maternal grandmother, Florenia Joseco of San Diego, California; paternal great-grandfather, Keith Murphy of Apple Valley, California; and many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fernando Joseco and paternal great-grandmother, Sally 'Granny' Murry.
