Christine Kay Langston

Christine Kay Langston was born on March 5, 1949 in Portland, Oregon, then moved to Grants Pass where she graduated in 1967. She went on to college after which she spent many years working in accounting for Freightliner. After an early retirement, she moved to Oklahoma to be with her daughter, Deana, who she had reunited with after 30 years, and her grandchildren, Devin and Connor. While in Oklahoma, she worked for Walmart, then transferred to the local Walmart in Grants Pass, where she worked briefly.

Chris had just moved back to Grants Pass in June, then in early August was diagnosed with stage four renal cell carcinoma that metastasized to her bones throughout her body. She suffered with chronic backpain for many years, making her symptoms for cancer less obvious.

Chris’ hobbies included horses, pool, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Chris is survived by her daughter, Deana Benn; her grandchildren, Devin McMillin and Connor Benn; her step Dad, Dick Webb; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 3rd for her family.
