Cheryl Ann Polk

Cheryl Ann Polk, age 50, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at her home.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2412 Williams Highway, Grants Pass. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

She was born Cheryl Ann Horban November 2, 1957 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Heather & Mike Horban. For many years she worked as a Medical Transcriptionist.

She loved writing and thoroughly enjoyed giving gifts to family and friends. It’s been said that of all the gifts she gave, the most precious one she gave was herself…

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; a son, Aaron and his fiance, Megan, a daughter Melanie and granddaughter, Keana; parents, Heather & Mike Horban; sisters, Hedy Connelly and Xenia Totten; and brothers, Ivan, Ronald, David, Robert, Chris and Mark Horban, all of Grants Pass and Dennis Horban of Temecula, California.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Patrick and Mervyn.
