Cheryl Ann Mccarty

Cheryl Ann McCarty, age 64, or Grants Pass, died Thursday, March 5, 2020 at her home.
She was born Cheryl Ann Wagoner January 20, 1956 in Modesto, California to Robert Dale Wagoner and Ruby Darlene (Page). On April 30, 1989, she married Oliver Aubrey McCarty. Cheryl worked for Stanislaus County, California for 16 years before moving to Grants Pass 15 years ago.
Cheryl became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Modesto and attended the Riverside Ward in Grants Pass. She enjoyed family history, babysitting her grandchildren, and watching shows she DVR’d.
Survivors include her husband Oliver; Cheryl was also loving mother of Deantha (Brown) Murphy of Grants Pass, Clarissa Harris of Idaho, Cassandra Gunderson of Vernal, Utah, Samantha McCarty of Grants Pass; and grandmother to ten grandchildren.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her sister, Diane Marcell Brumley; and two brothers, Howard William Blair and Robert Dale Wagoner.
A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Grants Pass Stake Center, 1969 Williams Highway, Grants Pass OR 97527 with Bishop Roger Tanner conducting. Private interment will be at Ceres Memorial Park in Ceres, California. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
