Cherry Arlene Bettencourt Peirce

Cherry Arlene Bettencourt Peirce, age 45, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

A celebration of life will be at 12 noon, Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors. A light luncheon will follow.

Cherry was born April 5, 1965 in Sebastopol, California. She was raised in the North Bay Area of California and attended Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa. She moved from Santa Rosa to Grants Pass 20 years ago.

She was a Job’s Daughter. She volunteered as a babysitter for many friends and family members.

Her hobbies included playing bingo, puzzles, and camping especially at Elderberry Flats.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Feith and Michael Finley both of Grants Pass, Oregon; her father, Victor Bettencourt and wife Kim of Grants Pass, Oregon; her mother, Barbara Johnson and husband Ron of Santa Rosa, California; two sisters, Dawn Bettencourt and husband, Eric Burns of Grants Pass, Oregon and Jodie Brust of Santa Rosa, California; a brother, Victor “Pete” Bettencourt and wife Crystal of Grants Pass, Oregon; two grandchildren, Jacob Feith and Natalie Feith both of Grants Pass, Oregon; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
