Chelsa Shiree Knowles

Chelsa Shiree Knowles was born July 15, 1979 in Nampa, ID to William Dale Knowles and Sherry Ann Mathews Knowles.

Chelsa attended school in Nampa and Homedale, ID, but graduated with a GED at the Boise State University campus in Boise, ID in 1998.

She was a member of the Followers of Christ Church her entire life, and enjoyed being in church every time she could.

Chelsa collected Hot Wheels cars and rocks. Her hobbies included crocheting, baking, reading, and watching movies. She enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her dad until he died in 1992, and bass fishing at Idaho’s Brownlee Reservoir.

Chelsa succumbed to death at home on June 22, 2019, after a 15-year battle with Fabry’s Disease. She was surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her dad in 1992. She is survived by her mother Sherry Mathews Shippy, step-dad David Shippy and sister Eva Kay Shippy.


A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m., June 29, 2019 at Wilderville Cemetery.
