Charlyne Ann Johnson

Charlyne Ann Johnson, age 81, of Grants Pass, died September 22, 2020 at Kinsington at Redwood Park.

Charlyne was born December 23, 1938 in Benham, Kentucky. In 1948 she moved with her family to Grants Pass and in 1957 graduated from Grants Pass High School. For three years she served in the United States Air Force until receiving a medical discharge. She returned to Grants Pass where she was a stay-at-home mom and raised her two children. In June 1989 she married Ted Johnson.

She was a member of the Foursquare Church since 1960.

Her hobbies included gardening, canning, fishing and spending time with her family. Charlyne especially loved her family and grandkids.

Survivors include her husband Ted Johnson; daughter Susan Powell; and son Paul Eldred all of Grants Pass; brother Patrick Patterson of Lyle, Washington; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents Allen & Lona Patterson and sister Barbara Eldred.
