Charlotte "Chucky" Dusenberry

Charlotte “Chucky” Dusenberry, age 77, of Grants Pass, died Monday, January 31, 2011 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

A memorial service will be at 12 noon, Monday, February 21, 2011 at Provolt Community Church with Pastor Phil Anderson officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

She was born February 21, 1933 in The Dalles, Oregon to William Cobbs & LeDessa Stewart Cobbs. As an infant, she moved with her family to Grants Pass, Oregon and lived in Southern Oregon all her life.

She volunteered as a leader for Brownies and Cub Scouts.

Her hobbies included bowling, reading, canning, and making candy. She was an award winning fruit preserver at the Josephine County Fair.

Survivors include a husband, Ray Dusenberry of Grants Pass, Oregon; seven children, Ginger Robinson of Lakeview, Oregon, LeDessa Norton of Grants Pass, Oregon, Trenna Ringulet of Lakeview, Oregon, Bill Wilde of Redmond, Oregon and Clair Killian, Clay Killian and Lane Dusenberry all of Grants Pass, Oregon; a sister, Linda Howard of Missoula, Montana; three brothers, James Anderson of Grants Pass, Oregon, Virgil “Korny” Cobbs of Meridian, Idaho, and Duane Cobbs of Morton, Washington; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
