Charles David “Dave” Case, 64, of Grants Pass, passed away, Friday, March 16, 2007 after a long illness.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors with Bishop Monte Sharp officiating.
He was born April 12, 1942 in Los Angeles, California. He was formerly employed as a custodian at Jerome Prairie Elementary School. He earned Phi Theta Kappa and an Associate degree in Electronic Engineering at Rogue Community College, where he was also a Welding Arts instructor. With his friend, Larry Weinberg, he co-founded and owned Precision Tracking Systems an electronics firm based in Grants Pass.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Riverside Ward, past president and current bingo manager of Aerie #2416 Fraternal Order of Eagles; a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks; an assistant Scout master; an avid fisherman; and a devout family man.
He is survived by his wife, Kathlien; five sons, Robert, Randy, Shawn, Scott, and David; a brother, Jim; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his younger sister, Rosemary.
