Catherine Fuller

Catherine Elizabeth “Cathy” Fuller, age 72, of Grants Pass, died October 7, 2019 at Sacred Heart Medical Center – RiverBend in Springfield, Oregon.

Cathy was born and raised in Inglewood, California. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a teaching degree in preschool and kindergarten. She met and married the love of her life, Tom Fuller at a Valentine’s Day dance and married one year later. In 1971 she moved with her husband and parents to Grants Pass.

From 1972 to 1975 she operated her own school and in 1975 had a daughter, Elizabeth “Beth.” For 16 years she worked for Litton Industries until the company closed in 1993.

Cathy was an active member at the Grants Pass Seventh-day Adventist Church. She also loved volunteering at the church school.

Her hobbies included walking, volunteering at church, and playing games with friends.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas J. Fuller; daughter Elizabeth McCall; son-in-law Shawn McCall all of Grants Pass; brother George Bennett of Medford, Oregon; two brothers-in-law Dr. James Fuller of Auburn, California and Rick Raphael of Sandgate, Vermont; sister-in-law Elizabeth “Betty” Fuller of Auburn, California; three nephews Benjamin Fuller of Denmark, Sean Raphael of New York, and Jeff Bennett; and niece Jennifer Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bud & Betty Bennett and sister-in-law Leslie Fuller.

She will be greatly missed by everyone.

A memorial service has been held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
