Carrie Lee Huddleston

Carrie Lee Huddleston, age 78, of Grants Pass, died Monday, March 24, 2008 at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be at 5:00 p.m, Saturday; March 29, 2008 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors

Carrie was born April 17, 1929 in Ulysses, Kansas to Elmer and Lucille Kellhofer. She graduated from Caldwell High School in Caldwell, Idaho in 1947. In 1948 in Klamath Falls, Oregon she married Marion Anthony “Tony” Huddleston. They moved to Grants Pass in 1952. She decorated cakes at Byrd’s Market, and later at Rays for 31 years. After her retirement she worked hard for Grace Bible Church and Child Evangelism.

Carrie attended Newman United Methodist Church for years and was a dedicated Girl Scout volunteer.

She is survived by four children, Terrie Hudson of Grants Pass, Lyn Skudstad of Crescent City, California, Becky Dunham of Petersburg, Alaska and David Huddleston of Grantss Pass; two sisters, Margie Hunsaker of Missoula, Montana and Dona Barnes of Boise, Idaho; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Tony.
