Carolyn M. Barlow, age 87, of Grants Pass, died Friday, December 9, 2011 at an adult foster home.
A viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
A service will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2011 at Hull & Hull Chapel. Private interment will be at Granite Hill Cemetery.
Carolyn was born December 16, 1923 in Maywood, California to Elmer Bert Denio & Edith Mary Sherry Denio. She lived in Hemet, California where she worked the front desk at Ramona Lanes bowling alley for 13 years. In 1983 she moved from Hemet to Grants Pass. From 1994 to 2004 she worked for the City Parks Department and for four years she worked for the Best Western.
Carolyn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She especially enjoyed gardening, roses, and crocheting.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Barlow of Lompoc, California and Janet Holsey of Grants Pass, Oregon; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. Barlow in 1958; a sister, Kathryn Scott in 2009; and a daughter, Donna Barlow in 2010.
