Carole Irene Fishburn

Carole Irene Fishburn, age 70, of Grants Pass, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at her home.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2013 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Wes Winn officiating. Private inurnment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Carole was born January 14, 1943 in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was a loving grandmother, mother, wife, aunt, sister and friend. Although Daniel passed before her they began their happily married life while she was still 15 and stayed that way for 47 long wonderful years. They had two beautiful daughters, Robin Lorraine Toone and Shelly Anne Fishburn. Although they were both born without the ability to hear Carole and Danny loved them dearly. Ensuring that despite their disability they had everything the other children had, Daniel worked from morning till night and Carole worked two jobs to pay for their special education, a roof over their heads and food on the table. They moved to Grants Pass in 82’ with their daughter Shelly and soon after Robin and her husband came to join them. They were then blessed with 4 grandchildren Jessica, Daniel, Katherine, and Ricardo and life was indeed grand. They finished out their years here and we love and miss them dearly. She taught us all to live life to the fullest and enjoy the short time we have here on this earth. She asks us not to cry, but smile and know that she’s been finally reunited with her loving husband and she’ll be watching us with loving eyes.
