Carol Wild

Carol Wild, age 81, of Cave Junction, died Apil 22, 2024, on earth day, at her home.

She was born on Christmas Eve, 1942 to parents John Weaver and “Jane” Bewick in Canoga Park, CA.

Carol graduated Canoga Park High School in 1960. She went on to become a dancer and showgirl in San Francisco, California and Las Vegas, Nevada in the early 1960’s. Carol then met Leon Goodman and they wed in 1966. They were married for 12 years and had two children together, Todd Goodman (Cave Junction, Oregon) and Greg Goodman (Concord, California).

Hobbies included gardening, reading, and being in nature. She worked on political campaigns including the Equal Rights Amendment for women and was passionate about all human rights, equality, diversity, and protecting the environment; advocating and defending it to the end.

She is survived by brothers Todd Goodman and Greg Goodman; sister Jan Rehder (Castro Valley, California); grandchildren Zachary and Whitney; and great grandchild Maclan.

Carol is preceded in death by parents John and Jan Weaver.

She will be missed beyond words can say and immeasurably.
