Calvin L. Gilbert

Calvin Lee Gilbert, age 70, of Grants Pass, entered into the arms of Jesus July 10, 2022.

Calvin was born August 20, 1951 to Lloyd & Wilma (McKinley) Gilbert. For 30 years he worked on a Naval Base in Ridgecrest, California. After his retirement in 2010, he moved to Grants Pass.

He volunteered his time serving as chaplain. He especially enjoyed electronics.

Survivors include two sons Michael Gilbert of Grants Pass and John Gilbert of San Diego, California; grandsons Cody Gilbert and Charles Gilbert both of San Diego; three step-grandchildren; his mother Wilma Gilbert; sister Wanda Tewalt both of Grants Pass; nephew Brian Tewalt of Mesa, Arizona and niece Sherie Rucker of Grants Pass.

He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Gilbert.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., July 25, 2022 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors with Pastor Joel Williams officiating.
