Bryan Albert Gee, of Grants Pass, Oregon, left our lives too early when he passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at the age of 54.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 10am. Services will be held at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California. A reception will follow later that day at 2pm at the home of his sister Eunice Steves in Manteca, CA.
Bryan was a treasured brother of Bridgette Gee of Ripon, CA, Eunice Steves of Manteca, CA, Brenda Kinghorn (Doug) of Pinetop, AZ, and Cindy Clark of Escalon, CA; two stepsisters, Cindy Meritt of Lockford, CA and Shelly Imhoff (Darrell) of Shasta City, CA; and brother, Kim Leonard (Nancy) of Sonora, CA; and son of Elaine (Craig) Brown of Flagstaff, AZ;He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends who treasured knowing Bryan.He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Robert Gee; stepmother, Margaret Gee; grandparents, Albert & Cora Gee, Hugo Johnson, and Florence Erwin; and a stepbrother, Pastor Robert Porter.
Bryan was born September 5, 1959 in Eureka, California. He served in the United States Army. His passion was painting houses. Bryan was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to fish.
The family would like create homelessness awareness within the community, therefore, they are asking to please donate a blanket in Bryan’s memory to “Blankets for Bryan” which was recently created by Bryan’s sister Bridgette Gee in memory of him. All blankets collected will be gathered, saved, and distributed to the homeless every year on the anniversary of Bryan’s passing.
