Bruce Raymond "Buzz" Saunders

Bruce Raymond “Buzz” Saunders, age 77, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Buzz was born February 7, 1934 in Stamford, Connecticut to Lawrence & Jane Saunders. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War on the USS Lowry. For many years, he worked for the railroad. In 1990 he moved from Stamford, Connecticut to Grants Pass.

He attended Rivers of Life Foursquare Church in Grants Pass.

His hobbies included reading, watching television, playing with his cats and horse racing.

Survivors include his friends, Andrew & Kim Piader, Nathan Piader, Ayla Taylor and Connor Taylor.
