Bruce F Reinhardt

Bruce F. Reinhardt died at home in Central Point, Oregon, on December 18, 2012, with family and friends at his side. Bruce's remains will be interred at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, in Eagle Point, Oregon. His epitaph will read 'Our Gentle Hero' for his selfless and steadfast, and sometimes extraordinary, efforts in helping and encouraging everyone he came across.

Bruce F. Reinhardt was born in Bremerton, Washington on June 20, 1946. At 20 years old, he joined the Army and honorably served the United States in the Vietnam War. During his 3-year service in both Vietnam and Germany, Bruce received numerous commendations and medals, including a Silver Star, and six Purple Hearts. After his service, Bruce pursued a successful career in Radio Broadcasting, Advertising and Journalism. Later, Bruce excelled in the Chocolate and Specialty Food Industry. From 1992 thru 2001, Bruce and his wife, Marna, resided in Dublin, California, and together, they owned and operated a successful, high-end, chocolate manufacturing company named Immaculate Confections in San Leandro, CA. Most recently, Bruce received a 5-year Appreciation Award from Harry and David (Medford, Oregon) for his dedicated service as an extremely well-loved and respected 'Manager of Food Processing.'

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marjorie Reinhardt. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Marna L. Reinhardt, his daughter, Lilienne M. Reinhardt, and his daughter and son-in-law, Erica (Reinhardt) Lunderville and Ron Lunderville. Bruce is also survived by his brother, Walter Reinhardt, his sister, Kathy (Reinhardt) Sexton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bruce will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was a truly masterful mechanic, a skilled electrician, an ever-ready plumber, an avid reader, a cross-stitcher, an enthusiastic traveler, a trained chocolatier, and a devoted husband, father, and friend of humanity. Bruce's incessant humor, his unshakable goodwill, his mesmerizing commitment to finishing projects no matter how big or small, and his multiple talents, will leave a lasting impression and a fruitful legacy.
