Brian W. Crider, age 66, of Grants Pass, died Monday, May 19, 2014 at Rogue Regional Medical Center.
A private memorial service will be held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Brian was born November 16, 1947 in Eureka, California to William & Eudora (Shields) Crider. He was raised in Carlotta, California and graduated from Fortuna High in 1965. He then went on to have a very successful career with the United States Forest Service for 35 years and was often recognized and awarded for his outstanding efforts and accomplishments. In 1972 he married Henrietta Ann Crider of Arcata, California. From that point on, Brian’s job took them to Gasquet, California, Libby, Montana and Sitka, Alaska. Brian and family then retired to Grants Pass, Oregon in 2001.
Brian was an avid hunter and fisherman and most recently enjoyed restoring classic cars.
Brian was a member of the Oregon Hunter’s Association, Josephine County Sportsman Association and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Ann Crider; a daughter, Kimberley Paige Crider; a grandchild, Kam Parker Crider; a sister and brother-in-law, Dawnetta & Ken Strong; a niece, Stacey Strong; a nephew, Cade Strong; as well as numerous close friends who are considered family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy & Helen Fitch; his parents, William & Eudora Crider; and a dear friend, William Fitzgerald.
He will be dearly missed.
