Brenda L. Bellum, age 72, of Grants Pass, died Monday, November 5, 2012 at her home.
A gathering of family and friends (open house style) will be from 12 Noon to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
In lieu of flowers at Brenda’s request, remembrances may be to a charity of your choice.
Brenda was born April 23, 1940 in Columbus, Georgia to Edwin & Mary C. Lane. On April 16, 1966 in Phenix City, Alabama she married Don L. Bellum. She worked as a bookkeeper/accountant for years until she became a full-time homemaker for her family for the last 30 years. In 1966 she moved from Columbus, Georgia to Oregon and in 1969 moved to Grants Pass.
Brenda was involved in many volunteering activities with local schools, social groups, and support groups.
She especially enjoyed antiquing – buying, selling, and collecting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild and attending all of their sports and school activities. She loved her toy poodle, Taz.
In addition to her husband, Don Bellum of Grants Pass; Brenda is survived by three children, Rick Bellum of Grants Pass, Oregon, Amanda Bellum of Mobile, Alabama, and Donnie Bellum of Grants Pass, Oregon; a sister, Dianne Starling of Columbus, Georgia; five grandchildren; a great-grandson and one great-grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter.
