Brenda Jean Lowden, age 48, of Wilderville, died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at her home after battling cancer.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Wilderville Cemetery with Pastor Monty Pope officiating.
Brenda was born September 19, 1963 in Crescent City, California to Monty & Sharon Gonsalves. After high school, she served in the United States Air Force, and then moved around California before settling in the Grants Pass area around 1992. She worked at Hog Wild Barbeque and Herb’s. She also worked as a home caregiver for seniors and the disabled and was resident manager of Wild de Villa Assisted Living when she met and later married Bill Lowden of Wilderville in 2007.
Along with Bill, Brenda attended Selma Baptist Church.
Brenda enjoyed gardening, sewing, hiking, and camping. She adored her grandchildren very much.
In addition to her husband, Bill Lowden of Wilderville and her father, Monty Gonsalves of Crescent City, California; she is survived by her daughter, Monica Henrich of Cave Junction, Oregon; her son, Robert Drumm of Grants Pass, Oregon; two sisters, Debbie Scribner of Crescent City, California and Cheri Gonsalves of Grants Pass, Oregon; her brother, Joey Gonsalves of Crescent City, California; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon in 2006.
