Brandon Anthony Gunder, age 28, of Cave Junction, died Monday, October 22, 2012 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church in Cave Junction. A potluck gathering of family, friends and music, all the things that Brandon loved the most, will immediately follow the church service at the Lake Selmac pavilion. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Brandon was born March 5, 1984 in Grants Pass where he was raised. He attended Grants Pass High School and with the exception of two or three years he has lived in the Rogue Valley all of his life. He worked for Taylors Sausage, Applebee’s and as a bouncer at The Pub.
He enjoyed country music and supported local musicians in the area.
Survivors include his mother Janis Gunter of Salina, Kansas and father Tony Mistretta of Cave Junction; three sisters, Loretta Gunder and Destiny Gunder, both of Salina, Kansas and Raven Hopper of Cave Junction; three brothers, Johnnie Burkhead of Salina, Kansas, Max Mistretta of Cave Junction and Ian Martineau of Pacific Palisades, California.
