Bonnie M. Ayres Clark

Bonnie M. Ayres Clark, age 88, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Grants Pass.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie was born July 29, 1925 in Fort Morgan, Colorado to the late Otis & Jewel Ayres. She spent part of her younger years in Chiloquin, Oregon and graduated from Lassen Union High School, Susanville, California, where she met and married Morton Clark. She had four sons, Donald, Fredrick, Raymond, (who died shortly after birth) and Kenneth. In 1953 she moved to Torrance, California where they raised their sons and she worked in the grocery industry. In 1968 Bonnie and Morton moved to Grants Pass where she worked for Safeway, Morrison’s Lodge, and the US Forest Service, Ranger District 6 where she retired from.

She was very active in the bowling community which included city, state and national tournaments. She loved airplanes and flying with her husband and was active with EAA Chapter 725.

Survivors include her sons, Fredrick and Kenneth; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Morton; two sons, Donald and Raymond and siblings, Wanda, Freda and Gene.

She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
