Bonnie G. Lansdown, age 72, of Selma, died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at her home.
Private services will be held. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Bonnie was born January 7, 1937 in Wilburton, Oklahoma to Lawrence & Delpha (McKinney) White. In 1951 in Exeter, California she married Troy Lansdown. In 1958 she moved from Exeter to Selma.
She enjoyed raising her children and was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, canning, family get-togethers, and wildlife – including feeding birds, squirrels, deer, ducks, fox and hummingbirds. She also spent time spoiling her dog, Daishia.
Survivors include a son, Dwaine Lansdown of Selma; three daughters, Cheryl Nicholas of Selma, Shirenna Klein of Walla Walla, Washington and Rhonda Weaver of Myrtle Creek; three sisters, Perna Knight of Grants Pass, Florence Mathews of Brewster, Washington, and Eunice Doffemier of Mount Angel, California; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy in 1991; a son, Dale in 1954; her parents; four sisters; three grandchildren; and her companion, Larry in 2009.
