Bob Nelce King

Bob Nelce King, age 82, of Grants Pass, died Friday, February 7, 2014 at his home.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Bob was born May 13, 1931 in Mount Vernon, Texas to James & Ruth King. During the Korean War he served in the United States Air Force and worked as a jet engine motors mechanic. In 1950 he married Edwina Willson with whom he had three children. They later divorced. In 1963 he moved from Brawley, California to Grants Pass. Bob married Mary Ann Wade in 1972 and they later divorced.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and rockhounding.

Survivors include two sons, Lonnie King and wife, Linda and Storme King and wife Denise all of Grants Pass; a daughter, Tonya King of Bend, Oregon; two sisters, Almeda Curl and Connie Stephenson; four brothers, Jim King, H.B. King, Paul King and Sam King; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding him in death was a brother, Dean King and his parents, James Frank King and Ruth King.
