Bob Alsenz

Robert “Bob” Alsenz, age 89, of Applegate, passed away peacefully June 12, 2018 at his home surrounded by family and friends.

Bob was born September 1, 1928 to Milfred & Marie (Houghton) Alsenz in Long Beach, California. He moved from Orange County to Applegate, Oregon 38 years ago.

His hobbies included racing, fishing, golfing, traveling & drinking beer. He loved having fun.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary Jo Alsenz; children, Terry Alsenz, Cindy Maguire, Randy Alsenz, Rick Busteed, Ron Busteed, Becky Alsenz, and Rex Alsenz; siblings, Everet “Chooch” Alsenz and Donna Lee; nine grandchildren, Wendy Trenholm, Joshua Alsenz, Cassie “Tink” Drysdale, Brooke Vafiades, Cory Busteed, Amber Steed, Matthew Busteed, Derek Busteed, and Ryan Maguire; and three great-grandchildren, Mason Clark, Maddison Busteed and Kael Busteed.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Thaddaeus Drysdale.

A family memorial service was held.
