Billy M. Stillwagner, age 69, of Rogue River, died August 29, 2021 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.
Billy was born February 5, 1952 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Dale & Jo Stillwagner. In his younger years he acted in television commercials. During his working years he was a gun instructor, in law enforcement, owned his own dump truck business and was a long-distance truck driver. He moved from Copperas Cove, Texas to Rogue River.
His hobbies included rodeo where he was a bull rider, bare bronc rider and clown; and NASCAR.
Billy volunteered as a Little League Baseball coach and football coach. He also was a commissioner for the Myakka City Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife Doris Stillwagner; children Jeremy Stillwagner Sr, Justin Stillwagner, Cody Stillwagner, and Rachel Mullins; brother Johnny Lee Stillwagner; and 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Carrie Jo Stillwagner-Bretz; and infant brother Terry Garland.
A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., September 7, 2021 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
