Betty May Neel

Betty May Neel, age 71, of Glendale, died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at her home.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Betty was born October 26, 1938 in International Falls, Minnesota to Frank & Ellanora Thomas. On December 22, 1955 in Vancouver, Washington she married Earl Edward Neel. Betty was a homemaker and mother to six children. She moved from Parker, Arizona to Glendale over 40 years ago.

She especially enjoyed cooking for her family.

Survivors include two sons, Merl Neel of Glendale and Randy Neel of Eugene; three daughters, Debra Pappalardo of Winston, Kim Fuller of Eugene, and Tammy Neel of Springfield; a brother, Robert Thomas of Salem; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Neel on January 1, 2008 and a son, Ronald I. Neel on October 12, 2009.
