Betty Marie Wilber, age 86, of Rogue River, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at an adult care home.
No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Betty was born May 28, 1926 in Bend, Oregon to Robert & Florence McNeely. In February 1986 she moved from Kennewick, Washington to Rogue River.
Her memberships included the Unity Church of Grants Pass since 1995; Southern Oregon Crimson Circle – a chapter of the Good Sam Recreational Vehicle Club since 1990; and the Betty Club of Grants Pass for many years.
Her many hobbies included crocheting lap robes and donating 1500 of them to veterans organizations; traveling; camping; visiting with friends; playing the keyboard for church; Betty Club activities; and visiting local nursing homes.
Survivors include her husband, Winston “Bill” Wilber of Rogue River, Oregon; a daughter, Bonnie Wilber of White City, Oregon; two sons, Robert Wilber of Sparks, Nevada and Barry Wilber of Auburn, Washington; a sister, Shirley Straub of Anderson, California; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
