Betty Leitch

Betty Leitch, age 84, of Grants Pass, died Monday, March 24, 2008 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Family services will be held in San Diego, California. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Betty was born July 30, 1923 in Omaha, Nebraska to Charles & Bertha Peterson. In 1941 she graduated from San Diego Seventh-day Adventist Academy. On May 4, 1956 in Yuma, Arizona she married William B. Leitch. For 69 years she lived in the San Diego area where she worked as an office manager for a medical group for five years and later worked as an administrative assistant for a San Diego bank for 20 years. She moved to Grants Pass three years ago.

She was a member of the Paradise Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church for 60 years and had attended the Grants Pass Seventh-day Adventist Church for the past three years. She served as an assistant treasurer and was active in community services through her church.

She especially enjoyed bowling and sewing.

Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Reth of Hermosa, South Dakota; a brother, William Peterson of Sunny Valley; two grandsons; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
