Elizabeth Ann “Beth” Allison, age 70, of Merlin, died September 4, 2023 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center and was welcomed into her heavenly home after a long-fought battle with Parkinson’s Disease and breast cancer.
Elizabeth Ann Randolph was born May 25, 1953 in North Hollywood, California to Arthur & Gene Randolph. She lived in Phoenix, Arizona most of her youth and graduated from Columbia College in Missouri. In 1980 she moved to Glendale, California where she met her husband Ronald Allison and the first three of her five children. Beth and Ron both worked for the Glendale Police Department prior to retiring to Merlin, Oregon in 2002.
During their retirement, Beth and Ron enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, and attending their grandkids’ sporting events. Her many hobbies included quilting, knitting, crocheting, sewing, playing Bunco and camping.
Beth’s memberships included Eastern Star; White Shrine; Mountain Stars Quilt Guild; Elks and Eagles.
Survivors include her husband Ron Allison of Merlin; sons Scott Allison of California and Sean (Laurie) Allison of Grants Pass; daughters Jenifer Allison and Kristen (Dave) Clark all of Grants Pass; son-in-law Roger Odewalt of California; and daughter-in-law Lisa Allison of Grants Pass; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous cousins and family members on the East coast.
She was preceded in death by her son Travis Allison and her parents.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., September 14, 2023 at Merlin Community Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
