Bennie Patrick

Bennie Patrick, age 81, of Merlin, died May 26, 2015 at his home.

Bennie was born March 6, 1934 in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. For 35 years he worked in automobile sales and retired at age 62. He moved from San Jose, California to Merlin 18 years ago.

Bennie enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his beautiful loving wife of 56 years, Betty Ruth Patrick of Merlin, Oregon; three daughters, Victoria Patrick of Grants Pass, Oregon, Sharon Rodrigues of Tijuana, Mexico, and Marsha Decker of Grants Pass, Oregon; two sisters, Sybil Kirby of Yazoo City, Mississippi, Audrey Watkins of Carthage, Mississippi; a brother, Andrew Patrick of Terry, Mississippi; He was a loving grandfather of four grandchildren, Michael Ennis, Rhonda Embrey, Courtney Hogkins, and Ashley Ormes; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Merlin Ward. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
