Becky Bailey

Sarah Rebecca “Becky” Bailey, age 81, of Grants Pass, died November 19, 2019 at her home.

Becky was born February 5, 1938 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Clarence & Carolyn (Kell) Davis. She graduated from Central High School in Fort Wayne in 1956. After nurse training she became a registered nurse in 1959. In 1959 she married Darrel Ross Monroe and they later divorced in 1963. In 1966 she married Ronald Wayne Bailey and in 1976 moved from Fort Wayne to Grants Pass. She raised four children before returning to work as an RN as a geriatric and dialysis nurse retiring in 2003.

Becky especially loved horseback riding.

Survivors include three children Rolland Joseph Bailey of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Bryan James Monroe of La Center, Washington and Mark Christopher Bailey of Grants Pass, Oregon; and two sisters Enid Honeick and Sharron Jokey.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Wayne Bailey October 1, 2014; daughter Rebecca Lynn Monroe March 28, 2019; and brother David “Bud” Davis.
